This 1998 BMW M3 coupe is finished in Bright Red over Modena Natur Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car was initially delivered to Nick Alexander BMW in Los Angeles, California, and spent most of its time registered in the state, where it was acquired by the current owner in 2020. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, 17? Style 23 wheels, manually adjustable front seats, cruise control, a CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, and dual-zone climate control. This E36 M3 coupe is now offered on dealer consignment as part of Mohr Imports’ Monterey Collection Sale with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in Bright Red (314) and equipped with fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. This example was not optioned with a sunroof or a rear spoiler. Paint meter readings are shown in the gallery below.

Staggered-width 17? Style 23 wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Three wheels were refinished in preparation for the sale. The car is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, traction control, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.

The cabin features manually adjustable and heated “Vader” sport seats upholstered in Modena Natur Nappa leather along with color-matching door panels and carpets. Features include cruise control, an onboard computer, a CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Blemishes on the shift knob, wear on the driver’s seat bolster, and dead pixels in the stereo display are shown in the gallery below.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 100k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Radiator hoses were replaced in 2021, and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The car most recently passed a California emissions test on July 25, 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Nick Alexander BMW of Los Angeles, California, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total vehicle price of $41,245.
